The company, The Chef Jeff was established in 2010 and has been based in Bridgewater, New Jersey, though my journey as a chef has been lifelong over the course of 40 years. My early passion for food inspired me to pursue culinary expertise at the Culinary Institute of America. From those early days in a bustling Epcot Center kitchen to years spent honing my skills as a sous chef and corporate caterer in New Jersey, every experience has enriched my culinary style.

My Journey to Culinary Service

My time as a professional firefighter brought another layer to my craft, offering me unique opportunities to cook for my fellow first responders and serve the community in times of need. Today, I specialize in custom catering and personal chef services as The Chef Jeff, channeling my experience into creating gourmet event catering with a sincere, community-first approach.

With a professional cooking background built over 40 years, I have dedicated my life to perfecting the art of cuisine and hospitality. My formal education at the Culinary Institute of America provided a rigorous foundation, expanding my knowledge in culinary techniques, food safety, and creative menu development.

Early in my career, I embraced hands-on roles as a line cook at Epcot Center, immersing myself in high-volume environments that demanded precision and innovation.

My journey continued through New Jersey’s vibrant food scene as a sous chef and later in corporate catering, where I learned the nuances of orchestrating seamless events and tailoring every dish to the client’s preferences.

Throughout my 30 years as a firefighter, I remained committed to giving back, volunteering with organizations like Operation BBQ Relief in St. Louis and providing meals during California’s wildfire crises.
